How we look after your information.
This policy explains how Mollie's Grooming Hut (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you make an enquiry or book a grooming appointment. We are the data controller for the information you provide.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email, phone number, your dog's details (name, breed, approximate size) and any message you send. If you become a customer we also hold your appointment history and any notes relevant to grooming your dog.
How we use it & our lawful basis
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange and deliver appointments, and send service messages such as booking confirmations and appointment reminders. Our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you (and our legitimate interest in running the salon). Booking confirmations and reminders are transactional and sent regardless of marketing preferences.
Marketing
We only send marketing messages (such as rebooking reminders and offers) where you have given consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us. We record your consent and the date it was given.
Sharing & storage
We do not sell your data. We use trusted processors to operate the service — including Amazon Web Services for hosting, email and SMS delivery. Data is stored securely and encrypted in transit and at rest. We keep enquiry and customer data only as long as needed for our legitimate business purposes and then delete it.

You have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
